Know Jesus?

The Bible says it best. . .

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."    (1 John 1:8)

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."    (Romans 5:8)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."    (John 3:16)

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--"    (John 1:12)

Knock knock

Would you like to become a child of God?

If you would like to receive Christ as your Savior, please say the following prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner.  Forgive me.  Come into my heart and take control.  As evidence of my faith in You, I thank You now for giving me salvation.  Amen."

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation:  the old has gone, the new has come!"    (2 Corinthians 5:17)

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves; It is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast."    (Ephesians 2:8-9)

What do you do now?

If you prayed the above prayer, we ask that you let us celebrate with you.  Please contact the Blountsville First United Methodist Church at 205-429-3347 or our minister, Bart Bowlin, at 205-429-3341.  We would love to have you fellowship with us at any of our services.  Please check our Home page on this web site for days and times.

It is important that you begin to talk with God through prayer, read His word in the Bible, and join in a fellowship with other children of God.
